Terms and conditions for training and eLearning courses
The following constitute the terms and conditions to which applicants agree when booking any PROTTON SYNERGY PVT. LTD. (formerly know as Protton Engineering) live webinar or classroom training or eLearning courses (Terms and Conditions). Throughout the terms and conditions the PROTTON SYNERGY stands for PROTTON SYNERGY PVT. LTD. And PROTTON ENGINEERING. The PROTTON SYNERGY reserves the right to review and update these periodically.
- Registration with the PROTTON SYNERGY (creating an account)
When booking onto a live webinar or classroom or eLearning training course we require guest to register to create an account and provide us with certain information about yourself. In doing this, you agree to:
- Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form
• Maintain and promptly update the data we hold by logging into your account and updating via ‘My Account’
- Booking a live webinar or classroom training or eLearning course
2.1 Live webinar or classroom training and eLearning courses can be booked via the booking forms available on the PROTTON ONLINE TRAINING website: https://protton.co.in/training/
You need to be registered with the website before you can do this as you will be required to log in or create your account to complete the form.
2.2 When you submit a booking for an online course, your submission represents an offer to the PROTTON SYNERGY to book you onto the course you selected. On submission of the live webinar or classroom training course or eLearning course form you will receive an automated email to activate your registration.
2.3 The participants opting for eLarning Module will get two session of ‘Live Webinar’ free of cost with the trainer to get answers of their un answered doubts. However, these live webinars will be held ‘Once in a month’ as per availability of the Trainer. You will be informed 7days prior to the Live webinar. In case you wish to attend further webinar additional fees is applicable.
- Prices, discounts and sales taxes/VAT / GST
3.1 Notice of new pricing will be given in advance, but the PROTTON SYNERGY reserves the right to change prices listed without notice.
3.2 Early bird discounts (as specified next to ‘Striked-out’ original price) are available on live webinar or classroom or e-Learning training courses. The discount is not available in conjunction with any other offer and places are subject to availability.
3.3 If you select the rate on the booking form applicable to members of other treasury or accountancy bodies you may be required to provide evidence of your membership.
3.4 If three or more people book onto the same live webinar or classroom training course from the same organisation they qualify for a ‘discount coupon’. This discount only applies to PROTTON SYNERGY courses and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Places are subject to availability. Contact hr@protton.co.in for details.
3.5 The classroom training course fees include: theory lectures, practical, all relevant course materials and two Hi-Tea breaks. Lunch or Dinner is not included.
3.6 The e-Learning course does not include Practical or Protton Synergy will not provide any Software. However, the course has been designed in such a way that ‘Demo version’ of the software is sufficient to learn the course. The demo version can be downloaded free of cost from website https://hexagonppm.com/offerings/products/caesar-ii
3.7 If the candidate wishes to perform practical then he/she has to visit our office at Mumbai, India or approach us for Live webinar based training for practical. Additional fees are applicable for practical as there would be live assistance as well.
- Payment
4.1 Fees must be paid at the point of booking via Instamojo or PayPal’s secure online payment process. If you have an applicable discount code this must be entered at the time of booking, as the discount cannot be applied retrospectively.
4.2 All major credit and debit cards are accepted. A receipt will be sent to you by email from corresponding payment gate way confirming payment. Payment Gateway will receive the information needed to verify and authorise your payment card and to process your order and is under strict legal and contractual obligations not to disclose this information to third parties. Please note that if you do not provide accurate details (including type of card and number) or if your credit card company does not authorise payment, your application will be deemed void. The PROTTON SYNERGY will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of applications deemed void in this manner.
4.3 Sales taxes (VAT, GST,TVA etc.) may be charged at the applicable rate depending on the product and/or customer.
4.4 We cannot invoice for fees, or accept payment, by instalments.
- Prevailing terms and conditions
Please note that this and all other PROTTON SYNERGY pre-contractual documentation shall not constitute an offer. All services provided by PROTTON SYNERGY are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and if you wish to engage any PROTTON SYNERGY services we shall only provide them if you accept the Terms and Conditions. If you offer to engage PROTTON SYNERGY on your own terms and conditions then we shall only accept your offer subject to the Terms and Conditions, which shall, if we provide the services you offer to engage, prevail over any other terms and conditions.
- PROTTON ONLINE TRAINING live webinar or classroom and eLearning courses
6.1 After booking onto a live webinar or classroom training or eLearning course you will be given access to the PROTTON ONLINE TRAINING courses and forum. For eLearning, you will be given a licence period of specific days (based on course you opt) when purchasing an individual course or module or unit. By using the Protton Online Training you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you cannot use the site.
6.2 Whilst we make every effort to keep changes to the site to a minimum, we reserve the right to make any amendments to the terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes affecting our business, including but not limited to, changes in technology, fees, discounts, payment methods and legal and regulatory requirements. By continuing to use this site you agree to accept any changes made to the terms and conditions.
- Ownership and intellectual property rights
All Protton Online Training materials, whether on the said website or in classroom training, are owned by the PROTTON SYNERGY . All intellectual property rights in all materials available from the Protton Online Training, including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials and the audio of all webinars and podcasts, are owned by the PROTTON SYNERGY. When you are given access to the Protton Online Training, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Protton Online Training materials. No Protton Online Training content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without the PROTTON SYNERGY ’s prior written permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the PROTTON SYNERGY ’s intellectual property rights.
- Special requirements at the live webinar or classroom training course
The PROTTON SYNERGY will make every effort to accommodate special requirements that have been notified in advance on the booking form.
- Health and safety at the live webinar or classroom training course
You must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations and any other reasonable security requirements that apply at the premises at which the training courses are provided.
- Invitation letters
Should a participant require an invitation letter from the PROTTON SYNERGY, we are able to provide this as long as full payment of the training course fee has been received. The PROTTON SYNERGY is not able to act on behalf of the participant and is not responsible for any costs incurred by failure to obtain a full visa.
- Behaviour
The PROTTON SYNERGY reserves the right to remove any delegate from a training course whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate by the PROTTON SYNERGY or its trainers. In these circumstances, the PROTTON SYNERGY will neither refund any fees nor reimburse any other costs.
- Trainers
The PROTTON SYNERGY shall provide such trainers to present the training course as it, in its sole discretion, deems fit and the PROTTON SYNERGY shall be entitled at any time to substitute any trainer with any other person who, in the PROTTON SYNERGY ’s sole discretion, it deems suitably qualified to present the relevant course. The live practical can be conducted by the assistant of the main trainer. However, if any doubt is not solved by assistant then main trainer will communicate with the participant.
- Liability
The PROTTON SYNERGY does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information in, or views expressed on, its training courses including course materials. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of the PROTTON SYNERGY. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.
- Technology
The PROTTON SYNERGY does not warrant that the provision of any content online will always be available or be uninterrupted, timely or error free, that defects will be corrected or that such content is secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors and omissions.
- Joining Instructions
Joining instructions including an outline of the day and venue details will be available prior to the course start date via the Protton Online Training. The PROTTON SYNERGY will not be held responsible for non-receipt of joining instructions and refunds will not be issued under such circumstances. In case the participant does not receive joining instructions then it is his/her responsibility to contact hr@protton.co.in.
- Cancellation
16.1 Cancellation of a live webinar or classroom training course
If you need to cancel your place on the training course, you must notify the PROTTON SYNERGY via email more than 28 days before the course start date. You will receive a full refund less an admin fee of 20% (plus GST) of the course fee. If you cancel your place less than 28 days before the course start date, you will not be entitled to a refund.
16.2 Substituting your live webinar or classroom training course place
If you need to substitute your place on a training course, you must notify the PROTTON SYNERGY via email. If the PROTTON SYNERGY is notified more than 28 days before the course start date there will be no charge. Any substitutions made less than 28 days before the course start date will incur a INR 7500/- (USD100) as admin fees.
16.3 Transferring your place
If you can no longer attend the training course you are entitled to transfer your booking onto the next training course that has availability. The transfer option only applies to delegates who are transferring to a different date for the same course and the date must be specified at the time of the transfer. The transfer is free of charge if you notify the PROTTON SYNERGY via email more than 28 days before the course start date.
- Transfers made 15-28 days prior to a course will be charged at 20% of the course fee plus GST as per Government of India rules.
• Transfers made 0-14 days prior to a course will be charged at 50% of the course fee plus GST as per Government of India rules.
Please note once you have transferred your booking you will not be entitled to a refund and you cannot transfer your place more than once.
16.4 Cancellation and extension of an eLearning course
Once you have booked onto an eLearning course you have up to 07 days from the purchase date to cancel your booking and receive a full refund provided that the eLearning has not been accessed. After the 07 days, or if the eLearning has been accessed you will not be entitled to any refund, nor will you be able to transfer your eLearning to another person or onto another eLearning course. The decision whether the course has been accessed or not shall entirely as per the back hand results of the website and cannot be challenged by participant. Even watching the video partially shall be considered as ‘module or course is accessed’. No extension for the license period for eLearing course is applicable.
16.5 Changes and/or Cancellation by the PROTTON SYNERGY
Where circumstances dictate, the PROTTON SYNERGY reserves the right to alter published programmes, trainers, fees, dates or venues without prior notice. In extreme circumstances, the PROTTON SYNERGY may be forced to cancel a course on 28 days’ notice. In that case a refund of the course fee will be made but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred (for example travel, accommodation etc). We therefore recommend that you refrain from incurring any costs of travel or accommodation until 28 days before the course, or otherwise obtain insurance for those costs.
16.6 Non-attendance
If you fail to attend the course you are booked onto without giving prior notice to the PROTTON SYNERGY , we will be unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.
16.7 Renewal or Repetition of same course
During the License period, the participant can access each video / module for three times. However, after the license period is over there is no special discount to the same participant even if he wants to repeat the course. However, the standard discount offers which are applicable for new participant are available for repeater as well.
- Use of Forum
Each guest after ‘signing up’ will get access to ‘Forum’ where he/she can raise the questions or answer the questions. The intention of forum is purely ‘knowledge sharing’. However, Protton Synergy is not bounded to answer the answer of each question. Also transfer of any document is not allowed through forum. Protton Synergy takes no liability / guarantee of the authenticity and correctness of the questions and answers. Protton Synergy keeps right to remove the data from Forum in case it is objected or data exceeds the space limitations..
